We have a 30 year old pine log house in Prince Edward Island. The logs are 4”wide x 6” and the exterior seems to have been well caulked. The exterior has been finished with Sikkens 1-2-3. On the east wall (which has 3 large windows that were replaced last year) we always get leaking during Nor’easter rain storms. Can I apply vinyl siding to that wall to stop the problem?
