We have a 100+ year old home thats skeleton is squared off logs. We are currently remodeling and hoping to keep one small portion of the log wall exposed. We have removed all the old chinking and would like to re-chink. The logs are unevenly spaced. The chinking would be for aesthetics only not for weather protection at all. Do you have any recommendations for cleaning and chinking? Also I see you don’t recommend foam for filler but would that be the same recommendation for an interior wall? T
