please describe a process for cleaning a 2 year old log cabin of sap and sealing it after the sap cleaning

Well, there isn’t much you can do that will last, for removing the sap. The logs where probably a little green yet when the house was built and then stained over. You can take a heat gun and go around the house and scrap the sap off and then sand lightly, but it will return as soon as the sun hits the logs again. They will continue to do this for years. I will send you a copy of a description of this.
