I need to replace some verticle logs that are located inside an enclosed porch. The bottoms are severly rotted and the damage is isolated to the logs located inside the porch. I’m not sure how to go about this and prevent it from happening again. I would like to replace the rotted areas only if it is possible to cut them out, and then put either new wood in or field stone or brick. Help!!
