I am rebuilding a cabin using logs from an old cabin that belonged to my grandfather. There are not enough logs for the cabin I am building, so I am adding some new logs. The logs are ceder and were stained a red/brown color. Is there a way to strip these and stain them a lighter color? if not what is the best way to match the old logs with the new ones?
