We have an adobe style home with pine log columns, and Vigas holding up our large porch. We’ve used Spar Varnish in clear over the past 14 years to keep them as close to their natural color as possible. However, the past few years they were neglected and the varnish has worn off and the wood damaged (grey in areas).
