We purchased a cabin that has 1/2 log siding. It’s painted barn red. Guessing 40 years. It’s pine or fir. It’s peeling bad. We have tried painting only to peel and flake off. Thinking about sandblasting and then staining. Do you think this can be done? Thanks.
