We have a Jim Barna log home, it was originally finished with a 3 step Sikkens stain process. It’s never had anything done to it since and is looking bad, the bottom logs next to the deck are peeling. Can we use a solid color stain over this finish which is very slick. Blasting isn’t an option at this point, not in our budget!
