I have a new white pine log cabin with a covered wrap around porch so that sun and rain very rarely if ever reach the logs. I would like to stain them a weathered silver grey so that they look like they have been there for 100 years.The logs have been hand hewn. Every stain I have tried on scrap pine looks like paint even Cabot’s Bleaching Oil. Can you recommend anything to try.
