We have recently ”distressed” some board that we are going to install on an interior wall. We have decided that we are going to ”chink” the boards. We are thinking of using drywall compound as the chinking. Will this work? Will this shrink when dry and cause cracking or splitting? If not drywall compound, what is the best material to use to chink an interior wall? Thanks!
