Im having a white pine D log cabin being built in Rockbridge VA. would you recommend using Prelude on the inside and outside. Also Log end seal on the end of the logs. We are looking at Lifeline Acrylic for the inside and Lifeline Ultra – 7 for the outside. this is our first log home so we want to do it the right way the first time. any suggestion or help would be appreciated.

Yes on all of it other than the Ultra 7 is very susceptible to lap marks if you don’t work with it all of the time. You may want to consider using the Ultra 2 if you are doing it yourself. The Ultra 7 says that it is a one coat stain, but it normally takes a light second coat to blend it all in.
