We are in the process of finishing our white pine home and we never cleaned the inside of the log walls before the dry-in. They are black from run-off from trusses when it rained. What can we do to clean the inside walls? If they get wet will they ever dry? We still have not treated with borate or stain. Nothing on the logs now.

You will probably have to sand the black marks out. You can try and hand washing them with some warm water mixed with TSP and bleach, but I doubt it will remove the marks. If you get the logs wet, do not power wash, they will dry out eventually. Try putting a couple of de-humidifiers in the house. You should make it a point to get borate on the logs before you stain. It could save you a lot of money in the future.
