Can you provide a list of characteritics that seem to be common among the homes you have to repair?

Rotten logs at the bottom corners of windows and doors, on the corners of the house and on decks where rain splashes back on the lower logs.
Most log homes that have not been maintained need to be stripped of the old finish (glass or corn cob blasted), repair any rot, apply a borate treatment to help slow rot and boring bugs (does not work for carpenter bees), repair or replace chink/caulk and apply stain and clear coat if applicable. This is our typical restoration process.
