I have D log yellow pine log house in southern Maine that has been stained with CWF UV. I just cleaned it with Sashco CPR and am curious if I can use an oil based colored stain? Clear CWF-UV looks good for a year but rapidly fails on the west, south and east sides. Will the oil based stain last longer that CWF-UV. Do you think Sashco Transformation would be good?
