We recently bought a 7 year old pine log home. The logs starting cracking this winter, expecially bad are the logs that run from the outside of the house all the way through it. Huge cracks. Now, all the stair railing are cracking open. My dining and living room walls are no longer beautiful. We installed a humidifier to keep humidity at 40% and still logs are cracking. Any solutions to this?
