There seems to be a problem with water leaking in at base of gable windows after a hard rain. Log home is less than 2 yrs old but contractor says his 1 yr warranty is up and I will need to pay for any repairs. I have already tried caulking the base side of the gable windows. any other suggestions? Should I pursue to have contractor responsible to fix.
