We have a white pine handscribed log home in NW Wisconsin. About 20 years old. I have noticed a few spots, many around knots, that have a small amount of gray mud like substance and an entrance hole of som kind. It’s flat to the log, not built up like a large mud wasp nest I see in barns. Any thoughts? I can’t upload a picture or I would send one. Thanks
