I have witnessed on all of the pressure treated lumber of arch built 8 years ago, at every knot in the wood along the grain of the knot there are lines of saw dust oozing , for the lack of a better word, out of the wood. I have inspected for wood boring beetles, carpenter ants, canter bees and termites and have found not evidence of the such. So what can it be?
