We are purchasing a two yr old cabin that has been chinked but has not been stained. The logs have a little bark on them. I like the way the chinking color (sandstone) looks but need to stain to protect the wood. Any suggestions on sanding, staining and keeping the chink looking the same? Your help is appreciated.
