Not sure without seeing it, but I would think brackets would be the way to go.

You will have to build what I call a sandwich roof over the existing one on the exterior. 2×8,10 or 12’s on edge and then insulate in between them. New deck over that with shingles.

Nothing that i know of. You would still have to cut to custom fit anyway. You will have to T&G it with foam board in between.

It needs to be shaped to match the logs already in the house. You should also apply a borate before installing and staining.
