You can fill the woodpecker holes with E-Wood Putty. You should also stick with what ever kind of stain is on the house. Call Dave at 800-564-2987 for more help and the E-wood Putty

Try using a good quality latex stain like Life Line. Call Timeless Wood Care Products 800-564-2987. They have most everything you would need to refinish your log home.

You should never paint the inside or outside. Use a good quality solid color stain if you want the paint look and less maintenance.

First, you should never use bleach on a log home. The streaking will probably not come out without stripping the house. The dark is being caused by the stain that probably has linseed oil in it.

don’t do it. Spend some money and get a good quality log home stain. I would recommend Life Line from Perma Chink.

You will need to order some Grip Strip closed cell foam backer, cut to fit triangle, place in cavity to allow for about a 1/4” of Energy Seal to be applied to form a seal around window. Call 800-564-2987 for materials.
