It needs two coats of 1, then one coat of 23 put on last. Not sure were you got the stain, but Sikken’s hasn’t had Cetol 123 for several years. It now has Cetol Log & Siding which only requires two coats.

Do not use a deck product on the logs. Only use products associated with your stain. Some do not require a clear coat. Check with the local dealer.

Not sure what you question is. Try calling Timber Pro. Sounds like a warranty issue.

Unless you strip to bare wood you really should use the same product as the last time. NEVER use paint on wood. Use a solid color stain, but it will not stop the bees. (neither will paint)

All wood turns darker with UV. The darker the stain that you use the better it will hold up.
