I have a log house that is so cold and drafty!!! We live in the northeast. Can I chink just the inside or will this cause moisture problems if I don’t do the outside too? My logs are round with a small arc cut on the bottoms to sit on the log below. What product/method do you suggest?

I normally recommend doing the outside first, but since it is winter you could do the interior now. If you do the interior you should caulk or chink the exterior right away this spring. If you don’t, the rain could get into the gaps in the logs and then lay behind the caulk on the inside and cause rot over time.
