I live in Montana, we just bought a log cabin that was not finished. We are going to chink the logs in the next few weeks. We are thinking very strongly about using the mortar chinking. However, we are very opened minded. I would love to hear your recommendation and why. We are not experts and are doing research right now. Thank you. Renee
