We are building a 6×8 D log log home and are in the process of stacking the logs now. From the inside they are not lining up as perfectly as we saw in the model. Some logs are slightly warped and some just seem to be slightly different depth than the others leaving a not so even appearance on the inside. The log home company said they will replace the really warped logs but they would need to replace about 75% to get that model smooth appearance. Is this normal? Should we try to plane some of th
