We are installing a hardwood floor in a very old log cabin that has very irregular shaped logs where the logs meet the floor. We need to scribe the 3/4” thick hardwood to the logs while leaving a 1/2-3/4” expansion gap. Can you suggest a flexible filler that we can use to fill the expansion gap, that will allow the wood to expand and contract?
