We are presently building a log home. We are doing a lot of the work ourselves. A family member came in this weekend to help us caulk the logs. Much to my dismay, he got caulk all over the logs and did a VERY poor job. Is there anyway to get the caulk off of the logs once it has dried without compromisiing the integrity of the logs?
