The Permachink on the south side of cabin is bubbled up in many spots some the size of baseballs and some strips a foot long. It looks like blue foam board behind the chinking. The chinking needs repair in some spots. Do I re-apply Permachink over the bubbled spots or do I remove old first? Thanks.

You will need to remove the Blue Board from behind the chinking. It is an open cell foam and gives off gases that cause the chink to bubble. You will need to replace it with a closed cell foam and then apply new chinking. Call Timeless Wood Care Products for all of these supplies at 800-564-2987.
