I recently purchased a log home that was built in 1996. It is made from hand hewn Tamarac and the portion above the log wall on the face going to the point of the roof is covered with a rough cut lumber (Assumed to also be tamarac). The western exposure of the house is weathered pretty good (Sun faded and graying) the other three sides are a little bit darker and I believe the previous owner said that it is linseed oil with no stain. What can I do to get the western side of the home back to the
