Really enjoy your website! We own a 1950’s, 440 sq. ft. log cabin in China, Maine. The logs have horsehair stuffed between them. We would like to keep the look of the cabin by adding to the existing horsehair where needed. Any suggestions on where to get more?Thanks. Merilee

Most people want the stuff removed! I would try calling Timeless Wood Care Products at 800-564-2987. They may have a source for this product. Unless your log home is from 1800’s I would guess that what you really have is ”oakum” which is a hemp material saturated with tar or something similar.
