I’m building an 8” pine dovetail log home in Muskoka, Ontario. Log gaps vary from 2” to 6”. I understand you don’t recommend spray foam as chinking backer. I have already installed closed cell backing & chinking on exterior….2 yrs ago. Now I want to insulate and air-seal log-gap before installing interior backing & chinking. IMO fibreglass or Roxul cannot be cut & installed in a variable log gap properly and getting a good air-seal with chinking is questionable. My idea is to cut & install l
