I am preparing to finish the interior of our pine log home. Where sheet rock meets the logs there is lots of old caulk I need to remove from the logs. Any ideas on how to remove it would be appreciated.

Not sure how much is there, but normally we cut it out with a utility knife then scrape any access that is still stuck to the log with a paint scraper.
