My 1000 sq. ft. log home is about 8yrs old and sits on concrete slab. I have found drafts between the bottom log and concrete. I originally used silicone chaulk a few months ago but with the cold winter there was movement of logs causing 1/4” air drafts in a few areas. I know I must scrape out the silicone and chaulk or chink but which one? Will one adhere better between wood and concrete? Is there anything that improves conrete adhesion other than clean and dust free? I am a new log home
