We are currently ready for the chinking process on the interrior of our cabin. In order to save a little money on the Permachink we were thinking of putting cement in the 1.5” gaps between the cedar planks. Then cover the cement with a thin layer of Permachink. Will their be any problems with this in the future? It is a log facing cabin.

You should be putting Grip Strip in the gaps and then a thin layer of chink. Call Timeless Wood Care Products at 800-564-2987 for help.
