we have a 15 yr old log home, 8” D logs, our south facing wall is a disaster,have had numerous logs repaired (cut and replaced with 1/2 logs)due to rott. its almost impossible to keep a good coat of stain on it and it looks awfull! I would like to some how start over with that wall,, thinking of a vinyl siding or hardy board type, there appears at this time to have no rotting, i see you recommend tyvek covering,, Im not sure siding just one wall woould look good? also what do you do to the corne
