I want to build a shower using logs as corner posts with etched glass panels & doors forming three sides. Can logs be used for this purpose or does anyone make man-made logs for wet applications?

I suppose you could use them for this, but you should apply a good application of borate first to help deter any rot. I would then apply a couple of coats of stain and about 4 to 6 good coats of Acrylic clear coat. Perma chink makes an excellent Acrylic clear for interior use. www.timelesswoodcare.com
