We’re considering installing quarterround log siding in our basement on the walls. We’ve just started to go about looking into this. How do you attach it to the walls? And do you have anything you can recommend for a basement ceiling to give it a ”log cabin-ish” feel?
You will have to mount furring strips to the existing wall vertically. This will give you something to screw the siding to. The ceiling would look good with a tongue and groove knotty pine on it. You can get help with this at any Home Depot and get the materials that you will need there.
