We live in a manufactured home that has an addition built on the back(just one room.) It was built to go with the rustic appearance of the rest of the house. I have discovered that some of the wood used is creosote treated. The smell is really strong when it’s hot. We also have a small wood stove for use in winter. is it possible to cover the treated logs or does that wood need to be removed. I’m very concerned about the toxic effects especially since 2 people in our household have had cancer.
