I recently purchased a foreclosed log home in Alaska built in the 70’s. The logs are 12” 2 sided logs and the house is 2 stories with a daylight basement. The roof is a full hip. The roof rafters has spread mildly causing the outer walls to bow out. More or less the top 5 courses of an 8 course wall are leaning out anywhere from 2” to 5”. Any suggestions for pulling the walls in so the roof can be repaired? I’m looking at chain falls, come-a-longs, any ideas. Plan push/pull wall
