3 years ago, I had a ”professional” repair damage to bottom 3 logs of my cabin on the North side. His solution was to cut the original logs off at the dovetail corner & spike replacement logs to the dovetail ends; now the sill log has warped outwards & is now 3” off the foundation on the East side as the dovetails no longer tie the cabin together – Can this be fixed properly? The cabin is about 18 years old & made of 6” x 12” han hewn logs.
