We had our log lake home professionally stripped down to bare wood, stained and sealed using PermaChink products in 2012. We are located on Lake Huron in Michigan. This year it needed to be stained and sealed again because it was fading in some areas and we think it was because the stain and sealer were sprayed on so we brushed on a coat of Lifeline stain and sealer. Not exactly sure what your questions is since it did not all come thru, but per the label on Life Line stain spraying and back brushing is the proper method. I’m guessing that the lake side is the side that weathered the most and will probably require some maintenance every other year.
