My husband let the interior logs darken too much before we put our tongue and groove walls up (partitian walls). He sanded the log walls to try to lighten them and then clear coated all the walls. The log walls are still too dark and it looks bad to me. Is there any way to fix this?

Sure…it’s always the husbands fault. 🙂 Just kidding.

If the sanding doesn’t brighten them up there isn’t much else you can do on the interior. They do make wood brighteners, but they require lots of water. You could try experimenting to see if it helps, but be careful not to get your floors wet. May require lots of rags.
