Our cedar log home Glidden honey-colored stain fades in 2-3 years. We do not simply brush on new stain, of course, because the appearance is then badly uneven. So we get it sanded. That works but is very expensive. Bleaching after pressure-wash has been suggested, also very expensive. Any other suggestions? Darker stains are unappealing.
