Choosing Between Semi-Transparent or Solid Stain for Log Siding

It doesn’t really matter. The semi-trans will need maintenance every 3-4 years and the solid color will need maintenance every 7-10 years. Also, the solid looks like paint and you will not be able to see the wood grain.
