Not that I’m a big fan, but I would go with the Sikken’s. I’m not real familiar with Q8, but did some research, and it sounds like it is Linseed Oil based, which can promote black mold to grow on your logs. Any products that says ”apply with a garden sprayer and does not need back brushing” should be a reason for caution. Call Timeless Wood Care at 800-564-2987 for more help and information.
