I recently purchased a hand sewn hemlock pine home in TN. One side of the house gets full sun and needs restained. Sikkens was used the first time. I purchased Sikkens and have started restaining. There are places on this side of the house that are darker than others (not darker with stain) and on those particular spots, the stain doesn’t seem to show up, giving an uneven look. I tried washing with bleach and water and even a wood brightener with really no change in appearance. Any sugges
