I have just purchased a cedar pan log home and would like to know the best process for cleaning and staining the exterior. Can you please advise the options and best quality stain product. thanks
It depends on what shape the finish is in. If it is flaking and peeling everywhere you should have it corn or glass blasted, borate treated, then stained. If it is just fading a little or needs spot treatment of sanding & staining then work the areas that need it. It should have a light bath and complete coat of either stain or clear coat applied also, depending on what product is on it.
