Are there industry-agreed or ASTM or even mandatory standards for how a manufacturer is supposed to pretreat logs for homes for beetles, shrinkage, and rot? if so, where can these be found? Thanks!

No mandatory standards, unless by local building code that I’m aware of. There certain things recommended, but I think most of it is from the product manufacturers. Try calling Dave at 800-54- 2987 for more help.
