I have a 33 year old 10” no finish white pine log summer cabin on Lake Michigan. We have recently discovered two kinds of insect holes; first, 1/16” holes many on the outside and fewer on the inside with fine dust accumulating below the holes, and second 1/4” holes on the inside with fine long curved threadlike turnings bunched up at the hole entrance and falling below. Have not seen nor heard the insects. Location is 1/2 mile from a road. What are my next steps? Thank you.
