We have a home with log railings on the deck. They were oiled by a ”professional painter” with Pittsburg Paints Sunproof Semi Transparent Neutral Base Plus Superdeck 1901 Cedar about 2 years ago. Some of the rails appear to be drying up. How should we apply a new oil to them and what would you recommend to use? Cabin is at 10,000 feet and encounters 100+ MPH winds at times and 30 to 60 feet of snow each year.
